T herefore the Jews of the villages that dwell in the country towns make the fourteenth of the month Adar a day of joy and feasting, and a good day, and on which they send portions one to another.

Por esto, los judíos aldeanos que habitan en las villas sin muro, hacen a los catorce del mes de Adar el día de alegría y de banquete, un día de regocijo, y para enviar porciones cada uno a su vecino.
