Esther 5:14 ~ Ester 5:14

T hen said Zeresh his wife and all his friends to him, Let a gallows be made of fifty cubits high, and in the morning speak to the king that Mordecai may be hanged on it: then go in merrily with the king to the banquet. And the thing pleased Haman; and he caused the gallows to be made.

Allora sua moglie Zeresh e tutti i suoi amici gli dissero: «Si prepari una forca alta cinquanta cubiti; domani mattina di' al re che vi si impicchi Mardocheo; poi va' pure contento al banchetto con il re». La cosa piacque a Haman, che fece preparare la forca.
