A nd it came to pass as they spoke daily to him, and he hearkened not to them, that they informed Haman, to see whether Mordecai's matters would stand; for he had told them that he was a Jew.

Y como todos los días le preguntaban lo mismo, y él no les hacía caso, lo denunciaron ante Amán, para ver si Mardoqueo se mantendría firme en su postura, pues ya él les había hecho saber que era judío.
