B ut when they had rest, they did evil again before thee; and thou didst leave them in the hand of their enemies, and they had dominion over them; and again they cried unto thee, and thou heardest from the heavens, and many times didst thou deliver them, according to thy mercies.

Mas teniendo reposo, se volvían a hacer lo malo delante de ti; por lo cual los dejaste en mano de sus enemigos, que se enseñorearon de ellos; pero convertidos clamaban otra vez a ti, y tú desde los cielos los oías, y según tus miseraciones muchas veces los libraste.
