B ut after that our fathers had provoked the God of the heavens to wrath, he gave them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, the Chaldean, and he destroyed this house, and carried the people away unto Babylon.

Mas después que nuestros padres se ensañaron contra el Dios de los cielos, él los entregó en mano de Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia, caldeo, el cual destruyó esta Casa, e hizo transportar el pueblo a Babilonia.
