A nd Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen; and he placed them in the chariot-cities, and with the king at Jerusalem.

Solomon had 4, 000 stalls for horses and chariots, and 12, 000 horsemen, stationed in chariot cities or at Jerusalem with the king.
