A nd he also rebelled against king Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him take oath by God; and he stiffened his neck, and hardened his heart from returning to Jehovah the God of Israel.

Também se revoltou contra o rei Nabucodonosor, que o havia obrigado a fazer um juramento em nome de Deus. Tornou-se muito obstinado e não quis se voltar para o Senhor, o Deus de Israel.
