A nd the singers, the sons of Asaph, were in their place, according to the commandment of David, and Asaph, and Heman, and Jeduthun the king's seer; and the doorkeepers were at every gate; they had not to depart from their service, for their brethren the Levites prepared for them.

I cantori, figli di Asaf, erano al loro posto, secondo il comando di Davide, di Asaf, di Heman e di Jeduthun, il veggente del re. Ad ogni porta c'erano i portinai; essi non ebbero bisogno di allontanarsi dal loro servizio, perché i Leviti, loro fratelli, preparavano porzioni per loro.
