A nd Josiah removed all the abominations out of all the countries that belonged to the children of Israel, and made to serve all that were found in Israel,—to serve Jehovah their God: all his days they did not depart from following Jehovah, the God of their fathers.

Und Josia tat weg alle Greuel aus allen Landen der Kinder Israel und schaffte, daß alle, die in Israel gefunden wurden, dem HERRN, ihrem Gott, dienten. Solange Josia lebte, wichen sie nicht von dem HERRN, ihrer Väter Gott.
