A nd a man drew a bow at a venture, and smote the king of Israel between the fastenings and the corslet. And he said to the charioteer, Turn thy hand and drive me out of the camp; for I am wounded.

Pero uno de ellos disparó una flecha al azar y logró herir de muerte al rey de Israel, pues le dio entre las junturas de su armadura. Entonces el rey le ordenó al cochero: «Da vuelta al carro y sácame del campo, que estoy mal herido.»
