A nd when Jehovah saw that they humbled themselves, the word of Jehovah came to Shemaiah, saying, They have humbled themselves: I will not destroy them, but I will grant them a little deliverance; and my wrath shall not be poured out upon Jerusalem by the hand of Shishak.

Als aber der HERR sah, daß sie sich demütigten, kam das Wort des HERRN zu Semaja und sprach: Sie haben sich gedemütigt; darum will ich sie nicht verderben, sondern ich will ihnen ein wenig Errettung geben, daß mein Grimm nicht triefe auf Jerusalem durch Sisak.
