A nd thou, Solomon my son, know the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind; for Jehovah searches all hearts, and discerns all the imaginations of the thoughts. If thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cut thee off for ever.

Tu, Salomone figlio mio, riconosci il DIO di tuo padre e servilo con cuore integro e con animo volenteroso, perché l'Eterno investiga tutti i cuori e comprende tutti gli intenti dei pensieri. Se tu lo cerchi, egli si lascerà trovare da te; ma se lo abbandoni, egli ti rigetterà per sempre.
