A nd over the tribes of Israel were: for the Reubenites Eliezer the son of Zichri was the prince; for the Simeonites, Shephatiah the son of Maachah;

وَكانَ الرُّؤَساءُ مَسْؤُولِينَ عَنْ قَبائِلِ إسْرائِيلَ: لِلرَأُوبَيْنِيِّينَ ألِيعَزَرُ بْنُ زِكْرِي. لِلشَّمعُونِيِّينَ: شَفَطيا بْنُ مَعْكَةَ.
