B ehold, a son shall be born to thee, who shall be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from all his enemies round about; for his name shall be Solomon, and in his days I will give peace and quietness unto Israel.

Eis que te nascerá um filho, que será homem de repouso; porque lhe darei repouso de todos os seus inimigos ao redor; portanto Salomão será o seu nome, e eu darei paz e descanso a Israel nos seus dias.
