A nd it came to pass the next day, that he took the coverlet and dipped in water, and spread it over his face, so that he died; and Hazael reigned in his stead.

وَفِي اليَومِ التّالِي، أخَذَ حَزائِيلُ قطعَةَ قُماشٍ سَمِيكَةٍ وَغَمَسَها فِي الماءِ. ثُمَّ وَضَعَها عَلَى وَجهِ بِنْهَدَدَ وَخَنَقَهُ. فَماتَ بِنْهَدَدُ. وَخَلَفَهُ حَزائِيلُ فِي الحُكمِ. يَهُورامُ يَبدَأُ حُكمَه
