A nd the king had appointed the captain on whose hand he leaned to have the charge of the gate; and the people trampled upon him in the gate, and he died, according to what the man of God had said,—what he had said when the king came down to him.

Vua cắt quan cai nâng đỡ mình canh giữ cửa thành; nhưng dân chúng đạp dẹp người tại nơi cửa thành, và người chết, y như người của Đức Chúa Trời đã nói trước khi vua đến kiếm người.
