A nd his servants drew near, and spoke to him and said, My father, the prophet had bidden thee great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he says to thee, Wash and be clean?

Os seus servos, porém, chegaram-se a ele e lhe falaram, dizendo: Meu pai, se o profeta te houvesse indicado alguma coisa difícil, porventura não a terias cumprido? Quanto mais, dizendo-te ele: Lava-te, e ficarás purificado.
