A nd the city was broken into; and all the men of war by night, by the way of the gate between the two walls, which to the king's garden (now the Chaldeans were by the city round about); and they went the way toward the plain.

Abierta ya la ciudad, huyeron de noche todos los hombres de guerra por el camino de la puerta que estaba entre los dos muros, junto á los huertos del rey, estando los Caldeos alrededor de la ciudad; y el rey se fué camino de la campiña.
