I n his days Pharaoh-Nechoh king of Egypt went up against the king of Assyria to the river Euphrates; and king Josiah went against him; but slew him at Megiddo, when he had seen him.

Pe vremea sa, faraonul Neco, monarhul Egiptului, a înaintat la râul Eufrat, la împăratul Asiriei. Regele Iosia i-a ieşit împotrivă. Neco l-a înfruntat la Meghido şi l-a ucis.
