N ow behold, thou reliest upon the staff of that broken reed, upon Egypt, on which if a man lean, it goes into his hand and pierces it: so is Pharaoh king of Egypt to all that rely upon him.

Iată că acum te încrezi în Egipt, în acel toiag de trestie frântă, care străpunge şi răneşte mâna oricui se sprijină pe ea. Aşa este Faraon, monarhul Egiptului, pentru toţi cei ce se încred în el.
