A nd they forsook all the commandments of Jehovah their God, and made them molten images, two calves, and made an Asherah, and worshipped all the host of the heavens, and served Baal;

Ei au renunţat la toate poruncile Domnului, Dumnezeul lor, şi şi-au turnat ca idoli doi viţei şi un stâlp al Aşerei. S-au închinat întregii oştiri a cerurilor şi i-au slujit lui Baal.
