2 Kings 14:6 ~ ﺍﻟﻤﻠﻮﻙ ﺍﻟﺜﺎﻧﻲ 14:6

B ut the children of those that smote he did not put to death; according to that which is written in the book of the law of Moses, wherein Jehovah commanded saying, The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers; but every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

غَيرَ أنَّهُ لَمْ يَقْتُلْ أبناءَ القَتَلَةِ هَؤُلاءِ بِسَبَبِ ما تَنُصُّ عَلَيهِ شَرِيعَةُ مُوسَى، حَيثُ أمَرَ اللهُ وَقالَ: «لا ينبَغِي أنْ يُقتَلَ الآباءُ لِأجلِ الأولادِ، وَلا أنْ يُقتَلَ الأولادُ لِأجلِ الآباءِ. بَلْ يُقتَلُ كُلُّ واحِدٍ عَنْ خَطِيَّتِهِ.»
