B ut Jehosheba, the daughter of king Joram, the sister of Ahaziah, took Joash the son of Ahaziah and stole him from among the king's sons that were slain, him and his nurse in the bedchamber; and they hid him from Athaliah, so that he was not slain.

Mas Jeoseba, filha do rei Jorão, irmã de Acazias, tomou a Joás, filho de Acazias, furtando-o dentre os filhos do rei, aos quais matavam na recâmara, e o escondeu de Ataliá, a ele e ã sua ama, de sorte que não o mataram.
