Cînd au isprăvit de adus arderile de tot, Iehu a zis alergătorilor şi căpeteniilor:,, Intraţi, şi loviţi -i: unul să nu iasă.`` Şi i-au lovit cu ascuţişul săbiei. Alergătorii şi căpeteniile i-au aruncat acolo, şi s'au dus pînă la odaia din fund a templului lui Baal.
