A nd he said to him, Thus saith Jehovah: Forasmuch as thou hast sent messengers to inquire of Baal-zebub the god of Ekron, is it because there is no God in Israel to inquire of his word? therefore thou shalt not come down from the bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt certainly die.

Cuando llegó ante él, le dijo: «Tú enviaste mensajeros a consultar a Baal Zebub, dios de Ecrón. ¿Acaso no hay Dios en Israel, a quien puedes consultar? Por eso, no te vas a levantar de tu cama, sino que definitivamente morirás.»
