T here was nothing in the ark save the two tables of stone which Moses placed there at Horeb, when Jehovah made with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.

Nell'arca non c'era nient'altro che le due tavole di pietra che Mosè vi aveva deposto al monte Horeb, quando l'Eterno fece un patto con i figli d'Israele, dopo che questi erano usciti dal paese d'Egitto.
