A nd the report came to Joab (for Joab had turned after Adonijah, though he had not turned after Absalom); and Joab fled to the tent of Jehovah, and caught hold of the horns of the altar.

Intanto la notizia giunse a Joab, perché Joab aveva seguito Adonijah, ma non aveva seguito Absalom. Perciò egli si rifugiò nel tabernacolo dell'Eterno e si afferrò ai corni dell'altare.
