G o, tell Jeroboam, Thus saith Jehovah the God of Israel: Forasmuch as I exalted thee from among the people, and made thee prince over my people Israel,

اذهَبِي وَقُولِي لِيَرُبْعامَ إنَّ هَذا هُوَ ما يَقُولُهُ اللهُ ، إلَهُ إسْرائِيلَ: ‹قَدِ اختَرْتُكَ، يا يَرُبْعامُ، مِنْ بَينِ كُلِّ بَنِي إسْرائِيلَ. وَجَعَلْتُكَ رَئِيساً عَلَى شَعبِي.
