A nd Jehovah will smite Israel, as a reed is shaken in the water, and he will root up Israel out of this good land which he gave to their fathers, and will scatter them beyond the river, because they have made their Asherahs, provoking Jehovah to anger.

Il Signore colpirà Israele, che sarà come una canna agitata nell’acqua; sradicherà Israele da questa buona terra che aveva data ai loro padri e li disperderà oltre il fiume, perché si sono fatti degl’idoli di Astarte provocando l’ira del Signore.
