e ven as I swore to thee by Jehovah the God of Israel, saying, Solomon thy son shall reign after me, and he shall sit on my throne in my stead; even so will I certainly do this day.

قَدْ حَلَفْتُ لَكِ مِنْ قَبلُ بِاللهِ ، إلَهِ إسْرائِيلَ، وَقُلْتُ إنَّ سُلَيْمانَ ابْنَكِ سَيَكُونُ المَلِكَ بَعدِي وَيَجلِسُ عَلَى عَرشِي. وَاليَوَمَ أُنَفِّذُ وَعْدِيَ.»
