A nd the king said to the Cushite, Is it well with the young man Absalom? And the Cushite said, The enemies of my lord the king, and all that rise against thee for evil, be as that young man.

فسألَ المَلِكُ الكُوشِيَّ: «وَهَلِ الفَتَى أبشالومُ بِخَيرٍ؟» فَأجابَ الكُوشِيَّ: «آمُلُ أنْ يَلْقى أعْداؤُكَ وكافَّةُ النّاسِ الّذينَ يَقِفونَ ضِدَّكَ لإلِحاقِ الأذَى بِكَ العِقابَ الذي لَقِيَهُ هَذا الشّابُ أبْشالُومُ.»
