J ehovah has returned upon thee all the blood of the house of Saul, in whose stead thou hast reigned; and Jehovah has given the kingdom into the hand of Absalom thy son; and behold, thou art in thine own evil, for thou art a man of blood.

Jehová te ha dado el pago de toda la sangre de la casa de Saúl, en lugar del cual tú has reinado: mas Jehová ha entregado el reino en mano de tu hijo Absalom; y hete aquí sorprendido en tu maldad, porque eres varón de sangres.
