Y e mountains of Gilboa, let there be no dew, no rain upon you, nor fields of heave-offerings! For there the shield of the mighty was vilely cast away, The shield of Saul, not anointed with oil.

Oh montes de Gilboa, No haya sobre ustedes rocío ni lluvia, ni campos de ofrendas; Porque allí fue deshonrado el escudo de los valientes, El escudo de Saúl, no ungido con aceite.
