A nd Joseph bought all the soil of Egypt for Pharaoh; for the Egyptians sold every man his field, because the famine prevailed over them; and the land became Pharaoh's.

Entonces compró José para el faraón toda la tierra de Egipto, pues los egipcios vendieron cada uno sus tierras, porque se agravó el hambre que pesaba sobre ellos. La tierra pasó así a ser del faraón.
