Genesis 43:7 ~ Genesi 43:7

A nd they said, The man asked very closely after us, and after our kindred, saying, Is your father yet alive? have ye a brother? And we told him according to the tenor of these words. Could we at all know that he would say, Bring your brother down?

Quelli risposero: «Quell'uomo ci interrogò con molta accuratezza intorno a noi e al nostro parentado, dicendo: "Vostro padre è ancora vivo? Avete qualche altro fratello?". E noi gli rispondemmo in base a queste sue domande. Potevamo noi mai sapere che ci avrebbe detto: "Portate quaggiú il vostro fratello"?».
