A nd the famine was on all the earth. And Joseph opened every place in which there was, and sold grain to the Egyptians; and the famine was grievous in the land of Egypt.

(А гладът бе по цялото лице на земята). Иосиф, прочее, отвори всичките житници и продаваше на египтяните, защото гладът се усилваше по Египетската земя.
