A nd Esau saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob, and sent him away to Padan-Aram, to take a wife thence, blessing him, and giving him a charge saying, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan;

Esaú viu que Isaque havia abençoado a Jacó e o havia mandado a Padã-Arã para escolher ali uma mulher e que, ao abençoá-lo, dera-lhe a ordem de não se casar com mulher cananéia.
