Genesis 26:7 ~ ﺗﻜﻮﻳﻦ 26:7

A nd the men of the place asked about his wife. And he said, She is my sister; for he feared to say, my wife, Lest the men of the place slay me on account of Rebecca—because she was fair in countenance.

فَسَألَهُ أهلُ تِلْكَ المَنْطَقَةِ عَنْ زَوْجَتِهِ. فَقالَ: «إنَّها أُختِي.» فَقَدْ خافَ أنْ يَقُولَ: «إنَّها زَوْجَتِي.» إذْ قالَ فِي نَفسِهِ: «سَأقُولُ إنَّها أُختِي لِئَلّا يَقْتُلُونِي طَمَعاً فِي رِفْقَةَ، لِأنَّها جَمِيلَةٌ.»
