A nd Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold, behind was a ram caught in the thicket by its horns; and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt-offering instead of his son.

Da hob Abraham sein Augen auf und sah einen Widder hinter sich in der Hecke mit seinen Hörnern hangen und ging hin und nahm den Widder und opferte ihn zum Brandopfer an seines Sohnes Statt.
