A nd God said to him in a dream, I also knew that thou didst this in the integrity of thy heart, and I, too, have withheld thee from sinning against me: therefore have I not suffered thee to touch her.

Und Gott sprach zu ihm im Traum: Ich weiß auch, daß du mit einfältigem Herzen das getan hast. Darum habe ich dich auch behütet, daß du nicht wider mich sündigtest, und habe es nicht zugegeben, daß du sie berührtest.
