倒 不 如 赦 免 他 ， 安 慰 他 ， 免 得 他 忧 愁 太 过 ， 甚 至 沉 沦 了 。

So that contrariwise ye ought rather to forgive him, and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with overmuch sorrow.
