西 宏 不 容 以 色 列 人 从 他 的 境 界 经 过 ， 就 招 聚 他 的 众 民 出 到 旷 野 ， 要 攻 击 以 色 列 人 ， 到 了 雅 杂 与 以 色 列 人 争 战 。

And Sihon would not suffer Israel to pass through his border: but Sihon gathered all his people together, and went out against Israel into the wilderness: and he came to Jahaz, and fought against Israel.
