我 从 以 色 列 人 面 前 除 灭 亚 摩 利 人 。 他 虽 高 大 如 香 柏 树 ， 坚 固 如 橡 树 ， 我 却 上 灭 他 的 果 子 ， 下 绝 他 的 根 本 。

Yet destroyed I the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath.
