我 却 为 我 名 的 缘 故 没 有 这 样 行 ， 免 得 我 名 在 他 们 所 住 的 列 国 人 眼 前 被 亵 渎 ； 我 领 他 们 出 埃 及 地 ， 在 这 列 国 人 的 眼 前 将 自 己 向 他 们 显 现 。

But I acted for the good of My name. I did what would keep My name clean in the eyes of the nations they lived among, in whose eyes I made Myself known to them by bringing My people out of Egypt.
