大 路 荒 凉 ， 行 人 止 息 ； 敌 人 背 约 ， 藐 视 城 邑 ， 不 顾 人 民 。

Las calzadas están deshechas; ya no hay caminantes; el pacto ha quedado anulado. El enemigo aborreció las ciudades y menospreció a sus habitantes.
