大 衛 甚 是 焦 急 ， 因 眾 人 為 自 己 的 兒 女 苦 惱 ， 說 ： 要 用 石 頭 打 死 他 。 大 衛 卻 倚 靠 耶 和 華 ─ 他 的 神 ， 心 裡 堅 固 。

And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God.
