眾 民 對 撒 母 耳 說 ： 求 你 為 僕 人 們 禱 告 耶 和 華 ─ 你 的 神 ， 免 得 我 們 死 亡 ， 因 為 我 們 求 立 王 的 事 正 是 罪 上 加 罪 了 。

And all the people said unto Samuel, Pray for thy servants unto the Lord thy God, that we die not: for we have added unto all our sins this evil, to ask us a king.
