親 愛 的 弟 兄 阿 ， 我 寫 給 你 們 的 ， 不 是 一 條 新 命 令 ， 乃 是 你 們 從 起 初 所 受 的 舊 命 令 ； 這 舊 命 令 就 是 你 們 所 聽 見 的 道 。

Beloved, I am writing you no new commandment, but an old commandment which you have had from the beginning; the old commandment is the message which you have heard '> doctrine of salvation through Christ].
