摩 西 對 他 岳 父 （ 或 作 ： 內 兄 ） ─ 米 甸 人 流 珥 的 兒 子 何 巴 ─ 說 ： 我 們 要 行 路 ， 往 耶 和 華 所 應 許 之 地 去 ； 他 曾 說 ： 我 要 將 這 地 賜 給 你 們 。 現 在 求 你 和 我 們 同 去 ， 我 們 必 厚 待 你 ， 因 為 耶 和 華 指 著 以 色 列 人 已 經 應 許 給 好 處 。

And Moses said unto Hobab, the son of Raguel the Midianite, Moses' father in law, We are journeying unto the place of which the Lord said, I will give it you: come thou with us, and we will do thee good: for the Lord hath spoken good concerning Israel.
