那 日 陣 勢 越 戰 越 猛 ， 以 色 列 王 勉 強 站 在 車 上 抵 擋 亞 蘭 人 ， 直 到 晚 上 。 約 在 日 落 的 時 候 ， 王 就 死 了 。

And the battle increased that day; howbeit, the king of Israel stayed himself up in his chariot against the Syrians until the evening, and about the time of the sun going down he died.
